Most of the popcorn crop was planted too late to achieve normal fall yields. 

Many areas of the Midwest continue to experience record-breaking rainfall that is soaking newly planted fields, threatening to drown the young plants.

Cincinnati resident:  the wet wintery weather hasn't gone four days without rain since last September!

Dead grey skies this Saturday morning - the question is are they loaded with toxic chemicals from 8 states and/or 50 countries???

The problem is no one knows, there's no way to find out, there are NO proven benefits, and the potential for disaster down the line is HUGE!

Just time for clouds seeded all week with toxic heavy metals to arrive in the upper Midwest weekend events.

How fast the winds are blowing at the level of the clouds will determine how fast the clouds are traveling. 

High cirrus clouds are pushed along by the jet stream and can travel at more than 100 mph. 

Clouds that are part of a thunderstorm usually travel at 30 to 40 mph.

The most common chemicals used for cloud seeding include silver iodide,potassium iodide and dry ice (solid carbon dioxide). Liquid propane, which expands into a gas, has also been used. This can produce ice crystals at higher temperatures than silver iodide.

Heavy metals and areas of drought

There's a distinct possibility that in areas of desert and drought, that the heavy metal silver iodide would contaminate ground water much faster........  And stay there?   Areas where indigenous people depend on ground water for their needs?

Areas of heavy rainfall would just wash it downstream..................

Cloud seeding for the financial benefit of resort owners would just wash the silver iodide downstream out of the mountains into the flatlands

Silver is a toxic heavy metal?

The silver ion is among the most toxic of heavy metal ions, particularly to microorganisms and to fish. The ease with which Ag forms insoluble compounds, however, reduces its importance as an environmental contaminant. Ag is not likely to concentrate to harmful levels through either terrestrial or aquatic food chains. There is some possibility that Ag from cloud seeding will retard growth of algae, fungi, bacteria, and fish in fresh water; additional laboratory investigations are needed. Inhibition of aquatic microorganisms would interfere with the cycle that returns essential nutrients to the water. Ag in air and water should be regularly monitored. Iodine in AgI poses no environmental danger. Organic seeding agents currently being proposed are not likely to be toxic in either the short or the long run, but dispersal of proprietary organic compounds should be prohibited unless their composition is fully revealed.
